This week I have the complete honor of interviewing the awe-inspiring Dureti Mimi Tadesse, most commonly known as Mimi. Mimi is originally from the area of Oromia in Ethiopia, a country with about 40 million living in poverty and the average individual living on 25 cents a day. Mimi’s people, the Oromos, have always been greatly discriminated against and Mimi has been no stranger to this dehumanization.
